Dear Experts,
We have a vacant 30x50 site and neighor built a compound few years back. We did not suspect any issue but now when we tried to sell it, the buyer got it measured and said about 2 feet is taken by compound wall of neighbour.
As we were not aware of it, we did not raise any objections before.
Now we plan to get a survey done by municipal authority and take legal steps to recover the area.
For this do we have to get a court order or can we approach the police? Or do we need to send a legal notice through a lawyer? If court takes long time, can we start our own construction and pursue this matter in parallel?
