if new anchor defame whole delhi people in there news or by spoken some bad words are coverd in any law..? are we complaint media..?

None has got any legal right to defame anyone what to talk of all citizen of a city. Any affected person can serve upon a legal notice to such anchor to withdraw his comments publically by feeling sorry failing which to file a criminal complaint under section 499 and 500 of IPC.
