Lok adalats are organised to speedy settle legal disputes pending with the Courts. Are there any NGOs involved in such arbitrations ? How an advocate can voluntarily contribute for such Lok Adalats?

voluntarily cannot afford by advocates. The judge call on both the parties. After taking consent from the parties, the cases will be transferred to lok adalat.

NGOs cannot enter into such arbitration until and unless a particular NGO has any personal interest in the litigation.  An advocate will be appointed by the legal services authority as a member of the lok adalat commission, whose duty is to assist the adalat as a member of the forum. However, an advocate representing his client will be allowed to do so if the client takes permission for the purpose.
