Compensation to holder of che cheque - Held, it has to be paid out of fine amount. Awarding certain amount as compensation and further sum in lieu of sentence, both sums added together going beyond twcie the amount of cheque, offends limit for fine prescribed under sec.138 of the Act. Amount imposed in lieu of sentence was reduced.
