No Petrol No Diesel:Pumps dried up:

No Petrol No Diesel, Pumps dried up:

Finally Petroleum Officers withdrawn their strike infront of Government's strict decision. Now Government should not allow to those officers to rejoin. They should be dismissed and Government giving a clear symbol that no more strikes like this not allowed in our country. There is too much ways of strikes...

Because of this strike  entire India  freezed. These type of strikes are not good for India and we Indians, We should want to oppose these strikes. Already the public sector officers getting more salary, then why should they go for strike? Lorry's & Trucks are also in strike. What is happening in India? Nobody opposing these strikes.

Wake up India, Wake up India, just we are recovering from the Mumbai terror attack, now again, we can't afford this. There is other types of strikes they can opt.

Why our Judiciary and Governments not giving strict action against this strike. Now we need justice for our sufferings...

Do you think sameway or different?

This is a kind of terrorism, a few people taking ride on the entire nation.

No doubt everybody wants to over come these problems. But it is most unfortunate for us that in Parliament every Member of Parliament claps When their income raise or some more benefits are  given to them. When the most corrupt persons are getting more and more income  (most of them are not doing any thing not even coming to Parliament)  At least these officers are doing some thing . So first say some words for them and ask S.C to make some rule for them .  I m not in favour of strikes or the way they strikes

Dear Respected Members of the Forum

With all due respect

I would like to suggest one thing to you, but sorry whether you are with me or not

Yes! Shree Sir, I m thinking in different way.

Are V thinking of our nation and advocating that there should not be any kind of strike.

Can V ask ourselves that why V should not stop unnecessary consumption of Petrol n Diesel.

In Holand and China top officials n Highest Political Authorities r riding bicycles for their destinations and adopting methods to save environment n Petrol n Diesel.

Can V stop to ride our vehicles for atleast once a day in a week………? Ur answer may be ……..NO.

These Strikers r taking advantage of our uncontrolled usages of Petrol n diesel n these few people ( as Prakash Sir mentioned) may not take ride on entire nation but our unlimited n uncontrolled consumption encourages these kind of strikes………Sirs.

V SHOULD CONTROL OURSELVES………SIRS

Strike is everywhere in india.  From truck driver to highly educated professionals. Whether it affects whole nation or one single person. It is against the nation and affects the economy, tax payers' money each and every individual. When it affects a person then (s)he raise the voice against the strike, until.....

There is  better legal ways to express the opinion/disagreement against the government/company/agency  but everybody prefers only the strike. Why?

District court lawyers to go on strike today https://www.thehindu.com/2009/01/07/stories/2009010752640400.htm

New Delhi: Work in Delhi’s five district courts is likely to be hit on Wednesday with lawyers announcing a strike to oppose changes in the Cr PC, giving police the discretion to arrest the accused in offences punishable up to a seven-year jail term.

The decision to go on strike was taken at a meeting of Co-ordination Committee of all Bar Associations of Delhi.

“All Bar Associations of Delhi strongly disapprove the anti-public and anti-social amendments in the CrPC whereby the deterrent provisions of law of making arrest mandatory in cognisable offences punishable up to seven years imprisonment has been done away with while giving wide powers to police to arrest or not to arrest,” Rajiv Khosla, spokesperson of the Committee said.

Mr. Khosla, the President of Delhi Bar Association, sought support of lawyers and common people for the strike and said the fight would go on till the amendments were rolled back.

According to the proposed amendments in the Act, which is yet to get President’s assent, no arrest would be required for cognisable offences such as molestation, dowry harassment and attempt to robbery, prescribing maximum punishment of seven years’ jail term, he said.
