Non ancestral property rights

I have a question for all esteemed lawyers

My Grandfather X bought a land from his own salary. He made a house on that again using his own income. Nowhere was any ancestral property/money involved in the transactions.

Grandfather X has 2 sons and 1 daughter. Can he give the property to only one son and leave others empty handed. Is he required to mention in his will that he does not want any other sons/daughters to have a piece of his hard earned income.

Can that will then be challenged in court under any law/ court ruling.

Thanks for the replies.

Yes, your grandfather can give his property to only one son, excluding the others, as this is his self acquired property.
