Saptarshi Paul (Advocate)     24 December 2011

Non bailable offence bail by police

Accused had released on by Police in Police Station in case of mis-behaving with Police on duty, later on Summons to accused person has received where charges are IPC- 332/294/506/34 Actually when police released they had actually consulted old version of IPC where – IPC 332 is Bailable. Now what steps I should take being as an Advocate, shall I appear both the accused before the court.

Yes you have to appear for the accused in the court.  You need not to take bail for the ccused, because they are already on bail.
