I have a flat in mhada colony chandivali, I gave my flat to my family friends daughters without any rent. Which document i have to submite to the society. They were demanding letters and agreement. I am not taken any rent . She is a MBA student. She want to stay only for two years. Now society told me to pay non occupancy charges because I am not staying at that place.

You may inform that the flat is not rented out, but your friend/realative is staying there.

Whether the society do have any such charge from other members also ?
Is there any provision in the Bye-Laws of the society or any resolution adopted by AGM to that effect?
Issue a letter to the society that the occupant is a licencee of the member / owner.
