Normal eviction suit duration in india

The illegal occupant of a property has not responded to the legal notice of eviction served by the owner, even after two months.

Now the owner has to file an eviction suit.

1) What is the normal eviction suit duration in India from start to court order?

2) If the duration is too long, can the property owner take the help of local police to evict illegal occupant, before going to court?

Thanks

what do you mean by illegal occupant.is he occupying the premises after the lease or leave and licence agreement has expired?

He is a distant relative and was staying in the property for about 10 years without paying any rent, as my father allowed him to do so. After my father's expiry, we, as the owners of the property, served a notice to him to leave as we want to sell the house and move into a smaller house to take care of the financial requirements of the family.

you can file a criminal case of tresspassing on him to remove him from the premises
