Not given oath before cross examination

a defendant in a civil case was not administered Oath by the presiding magistrate before the cross examination. But examination completed. what are its implications for the case. Like the defendants evidence becomes null and void

You need to check the statement of witness,get a certified copy of statement and check whether it is there or not,then consequientail;

it is 100% confirmed that oath was not administered by the presiding magistrate before the cross examination of the defendant.

what are the repurcussions in this civil case. please give me your valuable advise.
