Notaries Act 1952 and the Rules made under the Act required immediate Amendment, as the table of fees which was fixed under the Notaries Rules 1956 has not been enhanced. In our State the Notarisation requiered Rs.10 Notary stamp and if it is drafted and printed with Non Judicial stamp, there is nothing for the Notary to be taken. I am of the view tht Parliament should have a fresh look at the table of Fees for the Notary fixed in 1956.
