I would like to know how difficult is to get an official copy of marriage certificate from Delhi office?
Basically I lost my original marriage certificate and I need a official copy, a copy valid for legal purposes.

The so called original marriage certificate is also nothing but an extract from the marriage held by the office of the registrar. So you can apply for another copy or extract of the marriage certificate from the same office.
