Old two wheeler vehicle selling

Dear respected expert, Please guide me regarding selling of an old two wheeler motorcycle. This vehicle was purchased by me in the year of 2002 and just completed 15 years of service & its validity for running on road as per RTO rules. The same become serviceable and to be scraped. So kindly intimate me whether I can sell it directly to the "Kabadiman" by taking very less amount or there are any other legal complications to sell the vehicle. Somebody told me that the same may be sold executing a deed on non-judicial stamp paper mentioning the details of the vehicle. Kindly intimate me accordingly Thanks in advance.
