Recently we sold land to a buyer. The property was under dispute for quite sometime. After an out of court settlement with the disputing party we sold the land to a buyer. Now the problem is that the lawyer wants 1 lakh to get the original sale deed from the court and the buyer does not want to release the remaining funds until he gets the orignal sale deed which is deposited with the court. Kindly advise us if there is any alternate way to get the original sale deed from the court.
