passport isssued from permanent address by psu employee

sir,

my friend works in a PSU in delhi since 2001.her permanent address is in orissa. In sept'2005 she had applied for a passport in Bhubaneswar( As the agent told her that passport can be issued from permanent address as she is living alone in delhi ). but while she came to her office she got to know that NOC is required for PSU employees.so she applied for NOC and got it in April'2006.In the mean her pasport got issued from her permanent address. Now she is at double fault. 1. not using her NOC for obtaining passport. 2. Got her passport issued from her permanent address without showing that she is a govt employee. Now she is in severe mental stress. She fears that she may loose her job as well as Passport office may take action against her. Kindly propose what action she should take now.(While reissuing her passport she will need NOC from her company again for which she has to give the details of her previous passport).

Ur urgent help is needed .Kindly help .I can see her in this condition.

Dear Anil, dont get panic and start losing your sleeps. the passport is always issued at permanent address and due to confusion you applied twice:

First of all if the particulars in both the applications were same means you did not hide or add the additional information in either applications then on the onset passport would not have been ALLOWED by the computerised system as it has the data base for every entry and seldom it gets duplicated.

It would be better to apprise the passport authority about the problem before it is too late because we are all prone to innocent mistake if not done intentionally.

Kindly approach to your department to explain them about NOC. It can sort out the problem of NOC with the Passport authority.

By the way is the DOUBLE PASSPORT has been issued and received by the applicant. If so please inform the Passport Authority immediately.

You might have violated the rules with no intent.

God bless you al,l the innocent souls.

Regards.

Dear Om,

I think you could not get the query properly. The passport is single and all the details in it are correct.I have also sorted out the problem.

thanks for your earlier response.
