Passport issue

Hello everyone,

I was born in Kuwait in 1986. My Dad registered me at the indian embassy in kuwait and made my indian passport. After that i came to india on my passport in 1987. I havee been in India ever since.

My passport was lost sometime in 1998 and I have no copies of it. Now I am unable to make a new passport as the passport authorities want the old passport or atleast a copy. They have told me that I would not be able to make a pssport as I don't have a copy of the old passport.

PLease help. Let me know what i should do.

thanks

Rick

Dear Richard,

Try to submit other proofs like ration card, adhar card, dri license etc alongwith a affidavit stating that you have lost the passport...try to persuade passport office people with these proofs
