Patta or mutation regarding

Dear experts, around 20 years back my father bought 2 plots of land which are next to each other in a far off place but didnt get the patta or the mutation done for these.  Now when we check the documents, one of the plots has an incorrect length mentioned and an incorrect boundary. For eg: on the North side the actual length is 54 feet but in document it is written 64 feet. Also on West it is bound by plot no 66 but in document it is mentioned as plot no 60.

But the other plot is mentioned correctly.

We do not know where the actual seller of the plot is now. So cannot go for rectification deed also.

So can we directly apply for the mutation or patta for these 2 plots using the document with incorrect details? The layout has the correct details though and guess the village panchayat might be having the correct layout also! So please advice what can be done in this case? Thanks in advance.

First you make a representation to the Mandal Surveyor and a copy to the Panchayat Office and Revenue Authorities for rectification of the measurements of your plot explaining all these details...If no action is taken then better file a writ petition before your State High Court for rectification of the same and it will be done soon....It might take time of 1 year if a writ petition is filed....
