Payment of fees by a student in a training institute

  1. Can an organization in lieu of providing training / education and placing a candidate can legally require the candidate to pay x % of her salary for a year / or several months if she is placed in a job
  2. What legal redressal is available if she does not comply with the agreement

Context: We are considering starting a vocational training institute where the candidate will not have to pay up initially. It is only after successful placement that the candidate can pay. But we wonder on what protection do we have from the law in case the candidate does not fulfil her part of the agreement

You cannot impose such condition to impart training to students.  This is an agreement made between a middleman and the prospective beneficiary through the middleman.  This clause will not be applicable to the training institute, what  if, if the candidate is not getting placement anywhere or rejects  the said placement on the grounds that it is not prospective and leaves the institution after completion of training without paying any fees to the institution?

Consult a local consultant and proceed as per his further advise.
