RASHMIKANT G. DAVE (PROPRIETOR)     20 August 2019

PAYMENT UNDER SECTION 17 B OF I. D. ACT.

Sir, it is my experience that when a delinquent employees raised industrial dispute it takes years to get decided in Tribunal. Against reinstatement and Back Wages the employer appeal against order. Normally appeal court order relief under 17-B of I. D. Act. But at that time the last drawn salary became a meagre amount considering the rise in cost of living. However cases are there when Appeal Court revise the amount but for that delinquent employee had to pass through another round of litigation.
Is it not the proper time to ask our parliament to make suitable amendment in Section 17-B ?
