Pending Arrears of MSEB of previous owner of property

1) They can send demand notice , stop electric connection for that meter no.

2) In that case , if you have required documents which are required for new electric connection you should apply for new electric connection in your name

3) If you want to transfer the old owner name to new owner name then you have to pay all arrears and then they transfer . Else they don't do

4) Necessary papers required to be made for MSEB

5) Whether they can demand money from you MSEB legally  Or whether they won't give new electric connection all depends upon that officer (They take lot of money bribe in such case)

6) If amount is not much better settle and forget , If amount is more do revert back with specific amount so if amount is high then may be required to refer Electricity Act
