Pending fnf settlement

An Indian automation company had employed me for 1 year and 6 months before I decided to part ways with them on account of higher education. As this was a service-based company and my position was of project engineer, I was deployed across India for project supervision. The company took care of the travelling, stay and food expenses. but many times, when I was supposed to move to another state continuously twice or thrice, I couldn't fill out the monthly expense sheet to clear the dues. this happened till the end of my tenure. also, I left earlier than my notice period of 3 months (I left after 1 month of notice period) so they said you have to buy out 2 months with the salary for those 2 months. I agreed, but there was nothing mentioned in our employment record. I filled out the missing expense sheets within a month of leaving and submitted them (this was in January/February 2024). to this day, 23 December 2024, the fnf isn't settled claiming there are various discrepancies in the expense sheets. last communication was the last week of November, and after that haven't received any mail.

there was a major problem during my travelling as I couldn't fill the expense forms while I was travelling and the company wouldn't clear the new funds before the old expenses were cleared. so had to spend my own money out of my pocket with some loans and credit cards. now that its been almost a year, I paid some of my debt with the savings I had. some is still pending generating interest day by day.

what should I do ?

On the basis of available details and documents with you, you issue a legal notice referring to your previous correspondences in this regard and demand the settlement of F and F within a stipulated time frame after which, if don't respond properly, you may file a suit for recovery of your dues through civil court.
