Pension after divorce

Hi,

I am posting this query on behalf of my friend. My friend's father is a govt employee who will be retiring in 5 years. Relationship between their parents had broke and now they want to approach the court for divorce. His father doesn't want to share his pension with his mother after he retires including the PF amount. If his mother gets divorce now and his father retires after 5 years from now, will she be getting her share in PF and pension amounts?

Unless divorce is obtained, she will be eligible to get the family pension in due course.

Yr query is hypothetical.Pensionary benefits including family pension is ordered based on the declaration of the retiree. If divorce is obtained before forwarding the proposals,it could be suitably be modified.
