Personal bonds & surieties

Dear members:

While surrendering in Trial court & apply for bail , in 498a case. Please guide the way forward-

There will be some personal bonds/sureities etc linked to the interim bail. Pls suggest the details on the personal bonds/surieties.

Are Fixed Deposit (Nationalised Bank) acceptable, but then amount will be decided by the Magistrate. In that case how can one go and make FDs and then come back & surrender. Or proactively the subject should carry FDs..(but for what amount(25k) & for what period & in whose name...i mean 1 year FD or 5 yr FD...and will date of issue of FD matter?

What should be ascertained in case the personal bonds are linked with sureities/solvency certificates??What documents should surieties carry..so that they are not rejected...

Pls share some links on understanding these formalities better....
