Is personal diary considered a valid supporting evidence by courts. My sister's in-laws had lodged false police cases against my sister and father. Fortunately, the state human rights commission has taken the cases and they are under investigation. Can my sister's personal diary containing daily account of every day events be considered supporting evidence in court ? For example, she says in the diary that the police guys called us not for any investigation but for pressurising us to agree to the terms and conditions of the boy's family. If the diary contains details of such events and what the other party actually said, can it be considered a suporting evidence ? Will it help in the case ?
