Pf issue

Dear Experts,

An employee joined our organisation in January 2014 . His salary was rs 11500 pm. He was not made member of EPF and EPS since his salary was more than 6500 p.m.

The PF Act was amended w.e.f. 1-09-2014. The EPF and EPS limit was raised to rs 15000 per month.

is it mandatory for us to make him member of EPS and EPF?

Your expert advice please.

He shall cover from his DOJ, deduction and contribution subject to the cieling of Rs. 6500, after amendment of the cieling must be revised and make the contributions.

Your liable to make him member.
