Pio rejected rti - tamilnadu

hello
X has a civil case pending against a town panchayat in regards to a encroachment, in the state of tamilnadu..
X then files a RTI with the town panchayat to get the details of the land...PIO of the town panchayat rejects it saying NO INFORMATION can be provided  due to the pending court case.
is thsi a valid ground for not proving information.or is the PIO acting out of RTI rule here..
under what situation will the reason provided by PIO holds good.?

Immediately file First appeal for denying on misinterpretation.  Unless the Court specifically bars the information to be provided in a particular case, there is no element of 'subjudice' involved in disclosing any information available on record.  While filing first appeal, also pray for such court order given to PIO by Court directing him not to provide the information on such case specifically.

Unless the information is specifically barred through order of court, that information can not be denied.

File to the appelate authority. Court info can be provided vide rti unless barred.

The solution for this is to file a first appeal to the appellate authority and get the information.
