A Suit is instituted by a Plaint.    It's an accusation; a charge.

Plaint is filed by, or on behalf of, a Plaintiff or Plaintiffs.

A Plaintiff is a person who brings a case against another in a Court of Law.

It consists of the brief facts that lead the plaintiff to pray the court and relief/remedy prayed on such causes of action.  Search google for a detailed explanation.
