Please - need help !!

Hello Sir /Ma'am, I stay in Hyderabad, Andhra pradesh. We leased a house which we built in a plot to the tenant more than 10 years, without any contract or procedures. He is paying his rent judiciously. Now a days he started to make modifications on our house without our approval. Is there any way that he would become the owner of the plot. We are really worried. !!!

You can file a suit for Eviction of Tenant for reasonable requirement ground along with petition for Injunction for change the nature and character of the property by the tenant.

eviction is not that easy procedure. you can do eviction if you do not have alternative accommodation and you should prove. you go on issuing notices after notices to your tenent that his modifications will not be reibursed by you as you will continue to be owner as your ownership is on some slippery steps. you can mention that if he continuues modification without your tacit approval he is wasting his moneys. it appears your rent agreement does not have clauses in relation to  modification that loop he may be taking advantage. property laws are cumbersome and there is no straight remedy pls. it is so kept by your governments for their own obvious purposes and courts are constrained to read the statutes relevant aklong with substantial laws please. regards.. dr g balakrishnan advocate bombay high court original side, rapidanalysts@gmail.com

Thank you Sir. Is there any other way I can get him to vacate the property ?
