Dear Experts,

I shall be grateful if  you could help me with your valued guidance and advice.

My late father bought a plot of land jointly in my uncle and my name . I was a minor at that time which is written in the papers. My father constructed a house thereafter. My mother is alive.

Now I am an adult and fighting a divorce case with my wife and  apprehensive of wife eyeing the property. With the new laws in the pipeline what shall be the best way to safeguard my portion of the property ?

Awaiting your valued comments.

Regards.

The best way to safegaurd your property is to transfer the property to your mothers name and alternatively your mother can make a will in either one of your family members name like your sister or brother or someone you can trust where you have control over the same . The end result with all these laws in the pipeline goes into the drain when there is no property at all registered in your name . I hope you are aware of newtons third law of motion for every action there is a equal and opposite reaction .
