Plot can be purchase if builder has mou only

Hi Experts,

 

I am thinking to purchase a plot from a builder and builder has MOU of that area from someone else.

So can I purchase the plot from the builder??

and what are parameters I need to take case to save myslef from a froud while purchasing the plot.

Dear Sagar

Ofcourse you need to take lot of precautions in such a deal. Whatever the contents of a Memorandum of Understanding, will never be able to convey the full title to the intermediatery buyer and  the one who has got no clear title or has a defective title, will never be able to transfer a good title.

Take help of local property lawyer for search report of title, as a very first step, even before parting any token amount.
