Plot size correction in layout

Hi All,

I am new to this forum. I have below question. Request for favourable reply.

I have purchased a plot in Hyderabad (Gramakantam) long ago. The plot size is 200 Sqyds. In the Sale deed the plot size and bounderies are correctly mentioned. But in the layout it is mentioned as 171 Sqyds. When we have measured the plot it is 200 sqyds.

Now can we change the size in layout. What is the procedure to do so.

PLease advise what to be done.

You have to go by physical measurement and not by layout sketch, some times it may be wrong. On and above if you want to change the same you can opt for Rectification deed , you excess stamp duty for 200 sqyds will not be refunded and you have to shell out extra money on stamp duty or you can convey the property to your nearest and dearest with new measurment.
