Plz help

Sir. What is the benifits after 6 and 1/2 years serving in indian air force as a combot member. And dismised by district court martail as absent without leave for 156 days. (no other type of misconduct) and i also unwilling to continue in service. Will it creat a problem to join me any other govt. Job?

Dear Querist,

It depends which type of Govt. service you choose to apply for. Some services have certain reservation in the disciplinary aspect of the incumbent. I guess, you may not come within the definition of Ex-SM. Dismissal of DCM conducted by competent authority of IAF although for on ground of AWOL, may incur you sufferings by not being eligible for any coveted post.

Please provide more facts so as to advice you appropriately. You may consider moving Armed Forces Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi, depending upon your case and relief sought for.
