Po mis joint account holder vs legal heir

X opened Joint Postal MIS account with her sister Y and kept Rs.3,00,000/- in the account.

Nomination has been made - Daughter of Y. Account is Joint-B type. Subsequently X died.

Z is the Legal heir of X. Now Y & Daughter of Y are denying any amount to Z.

Will Z succeed in any legal action as per Hindu Succession Act or Post Office Savings Act?

What are the chances of Z getting success?

Are there any reported rulings of the Supreme Court/High Court?

Requesting Legal Experts for their advice.

Nominee's duty is only to distribute the amount to the legal heirs. Z is entittle to claim the sahre of the X.  He has to file a suit for partition claiming his share
