Hi.
I am the Secretary of a Registered CoOp Hsg Society Ltd. at Pune, Maharashtra.
We have a set of some very difficult and obstinate persons who keep obstructing the Management Commitee of the Society at every turn.
They are not Members of our Society, but are mostly Power of Attorney Holders for the original Members.
I am told verbally by a well-wisher that being PoA Holders, they are neither entitled to attend General Body meetings of the Society nor speak at any such meeting.
If this is in fact True, it will really make our job easier to handle these trouble-makers.
Could you please confirm whether this is true, and if true, under which section of which act / rules.
Awaiting the experts' reply.
Regards,
R B Alurkar
