Dear all Intellectuals,
I have purchased a resale flat in Navi Mumbai and I made all the payment to the owner on July 26th, 2011. However, even after 5 weeks he has not given possession to me. He is saying he will be giving me the possession as and when he will be getting the possession in his newly bought flat at some other location. My question is can I send him a notice on normal paper by registered post or speed post or by email stating that he has vacate the house within 2-3 days otherwise he will have to pay me some amount say 50000 or so per month as a compensation to the delay. Do I require to send it through some lawyer or atleast in the starting, can I send it on my own and even after this if he doesn't vacate the house I can take help and consultation of any one of you in person. Please assist. Its urgent.
