Power of atorney for buying property in india

Hi,

We are planning to buy an apartment on myself and my husband's name and the registration of the house will be in January. Between this my husband is going to onsite in december and he will not be there for registration. So I need your advise like,

1) what is the procedure for doing power of atorney.

2) And Whether the power of atorney has to be registered in stamp paper or it has to be noterised ?.

3) And while registering the power of atorney, whether he has to be physically present in the sub register office to sign the deal ?.

4) What is the cost of registering the power of Atorney.?

5) Is it a big process, should we need to go trough the lawer, to cross all the legal issues.

Please advise.

Thanks

Abi

Your husband can nominate you  as his power of  attorney for  execution of sale deed in registrar office and other formalities in respect of the apartment. it should be a registered power of attorney. it is good if  you take help of a  lawyer for this purpose.

get the power of attorney from your husband, it should be registered at registered office.

if you are tamilnadu stamp cost 1000 and plus expenses.
