I have a xerox copy of power of attorney(कुल मुखत्यार पत्र). This document is signed in front of executive magistrate at a taluka place & bears seal of executive magistrate. The document was done in year 2001. There is no registration number mentioned on it. Also the document is only signed (by principal, attorney-in-fact & witness), no thumb impressions or photographs attached.
1. How & where can I receive the attested copy of this document?
2. At executive magistrate's office, do they maintain a register where in thumb impressions (of principal & attorney-in-fact) will be taken there?
3. Is the document still valid, considering the fact that it bears only signs & no thumb impressions or photographs attached?
4. Is tehsildar the same as executive magistrate?
