I am an NRI and hold ancestral land in Maharashtra. The land is being sold (there are other co-owners- distant blood relatives) . The deal is finalized and can not go ahead without my signature. I am unable to travel to India at this point of time. I wish to give power of attorney to my Father in law( non- blood relative) to sign on my behalf. will it be valid/acceptable ? if not what is the alternative so that the deal proceeds as intended.?
Please advise . This is urgent.
