Hi all...

If I wish to file a complaint or any case in any court of law, how should I go about doing it practically -

I mean, first approach the Office/Registrar?? Can you please advise!

Thanks

1. Go to a Court complex.
2. Ask from Information window if any legal Aid Center there
3. Seek appointment for discussing your grieveances  complaint and legal remedy available to you.
4. Also seek if required their assistance and or recommendation for a Advocate.
5. Consult the Advocate about your issues and what remedy he can get fo ryou and terms and conditions including time line.

If satisfied by responses uder para 4 and 5 do the needful

There are several similar questions by young lawyers, even on basics like Filingmatters. The client is taking a big risk in entrusting cases with Learners. They should formally join a law office and learn the procedures. Filing a case is not equivalent to file an application in Government office, Where forms and fees are prescribed. If Lawyers club encourages this sort of practice and give advice, many cases are likely to be rejected on maintainability or technicality. Our young friends must join a seniors office and work for atleast a couple of years, choose their line of work, either civil or criminal practice.Learn law by experience and not by reading hearsay advise. What is wrong? If one feels like answering, one answers it, else remains silent.

All said and done, these are definitely aspects that can be discussed on such forums.

It will be nice idea to have compilations of threads that have disussed such common questions. These compilations could be posted on the site as FAQ.
