Hi, Has anyone who had first hand experience with what is the role of a protection officer and what do they do once they are appointed by a judge in the DV case? Specially:
Are they empowered to do any actual investigation of the truth in the case?
Do they actually do any investigation?
What is their attitude towards the family who is being victimized in a false DV case?
What is the time limit under which they are supposed to submit the domestic incedence report?
Any experience in Delhi would help a lot. |

Law is different. Seldom do anybody follow rules written regarding DV act. Be it appointment of PO or etc. Most of the time green bucks do the wonder. Just a show of 1000 re note will make the PO lodge a complaint on the same day, serve notice to respondent [which respondent never gets], sends a report to magistrate the same day. All in matter of minutes. that is the power of money. You too can reverse the situation by using same money.
DV is quite dangerous as it has power to exparte orders, just be awake. You might just end up behind bars without no fault of yours, not just u, your parentage too can go behind bars.
best way out is compromise with wife, ask her to take back the DV case, no use running behind courts.
