The first general body meeting of our apartment welfare association held yesterday. During the discussion on accounts the Secretary, Treasurer and some of the managing committee members have resigned and the resignations have been accepted by the president and these are recorded in the minutes book.
1. Who has the power to accept the resignations?
2. Next day morning all of the resigned members have drafted notice saying we are taking back our resignations? Is it possible to comeback as per law once the resignations accepted?
3. Does the new committee members have the voting rights?
Thank You.
It is stated in bye laws that president is the CEO and has general control and power over the managing committee. The point is in the general body meeting some of the managing committee members have resigned and the resignations have been accepted then and there, and recorded the same in the minutes book.
Do they have any right to take back their resignations once accepted?
