Preventing Registration Of Property

A uncle of mine had purchased a flat from a person who had not informed him that there was a co owner......The Registration was done at the SRO and later the previous coowner of the flat had appeared claiming it was his flat and was going to sell it to his brother....How can we prevent a further Registration from happening of the property by the said flat by the SRO/IGR?
Can a said lock be placed on the registry for the flat before we initiate legal action?

Every state has its own Registration and there is a provision for filing stay petition before the Registrar to stay  the sale. but it is the discretion of the Registrar to Stay the sale or Dimsiss the stay. so, it is only through the Civil court, where you can stay such sale. Approach the Local, Civil side Practising advocate for further and effective details.
