Problem - Inter religion

A Hindu man marries a Muslim woman under Special Marriage Act and the not convert their religion.

Both work and purchased self acquired properties.

They gave birth to three children- 2 male and 1 female. One boy was brought as christian and other boy and girl as muslim.

What is the inheritance of the property if husband or wife or both die?

I think as it is a self acquired property of parents children will get equal share in the properties of father and mother without having regard to whatever religion they belong, in the absence of any will.

wont muslim law of inheritance apply on the death of the wife

In this case, I dont think so , as the property is self earned.

The children  as per Law will be treated as Hindu(religion of Father) so Hindu law is applicable if the man dies intestate

Mr. Aravinthan you have created a fictious situation not possible practically or never heard of.  You just want a discussion on this fiction.  A Hindu husband and a muslim wife that far ok.. raising one of their children as a Christian?? and the other two as muslims?  wha !  Where did this taste for Christianity come into the family?  You mean only the first boy is sent to church and other two children prohibited to go to church?  The father keeps on going to temples and the mother to mosque?  You just want a discussion on this fictious family - aren't you?

Only a "Fictious or crazy families Act" can meet your fictions:)
