Procedure for transfer of property after death of the will m

My grandfather has recently died. He left a registered will naming my father as a sole heir to his property about seven years ago and since then he didn't make any other will. He clearly states that since his other children didnot look after him at all, hence he leaves everything in my father's name. My aunts and uncles have, however, decided to challenge this will. So far nothing has happened. What will be the procedure to transfer the property in my dad's name? We reside in Haryana, so would a probate from the local court be necessary? Please guide.

No need to go for probate, move the will to concern authority for mutation in favour of your father.
