Procedure to change name of kid

You have to execute an Affidavit before preferably Ld.Magistrate on the new name and publish the same in the local news paper of say English and Hindi.

Secondly if possible you can ammend the name at the Birth Certiface procured already.

First you should proceed for amendment in Birth Certificate.

Or You can execute an affidavit before notary or Ld. Magistrate and after that along with other proofs you can publish new name of kid in Government Gazette Notification.
