Hello learned counsel.
My friend is an NRI and OCI card holder and his wife is an Indian National. She lives in the state of Andhra Pradesh. His wife also owns some agriculture land in Andhra Pradesh. So my question is can his wife do a gift registration of this agriculture land to my friend?

Yes. If the wife executes a Gift Deed in favour of her husband, then the Stamp duty is less i.e.only 2% on the value of the property or Market value of the property whichever is higher.
