Sir,
I have a joint property with my elder brother. i have the registered document and patta for the same. which is an agri land. he is in full control of the land. he is not interested in partitioning.
Is it possible to get a stay for not using the land for any purpose(for both of us) before making the partition?

you may file a suit in the civil court asking for interim relief such as restraining him from disposing off the property or creating any encumbrance on the property, whatsoever. Also, you may ask the court for division of the property and demarcation of the same.
