Property for grandchildren

Is there right to claim share from Fore father's property for granddaughters and their children, thats my wife and her sisters have right to claim their forefather property and her brother is only son and their parents not alive and wether only her brother have full rights on that property, we are hindu family and from Tamilnadu, please clarify this query. Incase if their parents had written wil on their son then whether daughter have right to go legal

If its an ancestral property, then all the grand child has a right in the share of the property whether it is male or female child.

further, parents cannot make a will on the ancestral property as they have no right to do so.

 

Therefore, your wife and her sister has equal right in the property of the fore fathers.

hello every one

 

i hava a proble withgrand parents property.

 

my grand mother  has 9 childerns - 3 son & 6 daughters

i am the eldest sone of eldest brother. my grand mother stays with  us from more than 25-30 years . though we a mother less kids family we are taking care of her.

my grand mother had a property which was given to her from her father. this property was illegally occupied by some tannents , i solved all the issues . now my grandmother wanted to give it to me. when i tried to do the registry other son's and daughter of my grand mother had send a fax to muncipality & registar saying that my grandmother's mental state is not ok and we are taking advantage of situation of her to get the property.  registry of property is in hold.

 

suggest me how to peroceed in such case.
