Property inheritance

In a Indian Hindu Undivided family law, can a son claim/inherit his right to the entire property of his dad, through a grandson/granddaughter, when born to the former ?

my father died long time back. they r 4 brothers. property was on grandmaa's name. no division was done till her death. my uncles sold a part of a property without telling us. how can they sell it without my mother's sign???when  it belongs to 4 brothers.. that too with equal share???

we live seperate, just i and my mom...

and they aint giving our share ...

how can we get it?

File a suit for partition.
