Property nomination

A hindu father died leaving behind his four son (A, B, C and D). He had one property where one of the son (A) was staying for almost 15 years and he was nominated on the property but there was no will. Father has been staying periodically with all four sons

The issue now is how will the property succession take place in such case and what are the rights of each son. Will the propoerty go to the son who had nomination or to all?

also can the person with nomination trasfer the property in his name without informing other sons. If yes is there any recourse to other brothers
